What do they mean by urbanization = fuel buildup for wildfires? - old wood and human scabies
What fuel? This is something that the contacts and everything that a fire continues to burn promotes allowed? (Old dry wood / oil surface of the lawn, ignition sources are people left, etc?)?

Whenever there is a house in the destruction of large forest fires in California, high-density housing will receive part of the blame. Houses full quarter after quarter.
That is my guess.
